About Beatrice

Beatrice grew up in Mid Wales and has a love for wild places.
She is a theatre stage manager, which involves such things as climbing ladders, getting covered in paint, hunting down weird and wacky props and running shows.
She also really likes Old Things and is a historian of early medieval maritime Wales and Ireland.
Writing adventurous stories for children has been a constant throughout her life and she has an MA in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University.
