About Kerry

Kerry Edwards studied Textiles and Fashion at the Royal College of Art. After graduating she worked in New York as a designer in the fashion industry. During her career she travelled widely through America, South America and Asia.

After ten years she returned to the UK, and worked as a freelance consultant in London before moving to the south coast with her husband and young family. Here she set up a designer children’s wear business and a bespoke photo book business. Currently she works as a learning support assistant at the Prebendal School in Chichester and has recently graduated with an MA in Creative Writing from West Dean College via University of West Sussex.

The inspiration for her writing comes from two main sources; firstly the many women she has met on her travels and secondly from working with children and young people.
