Kirsty has spent the last fifteen years researching children’s books (or to put it another way reading to her own brood), and has finally decided that it is about time that she put pen to paper herself.
She has spent much of her life travelling, and has lived in Nigeria, Hong Kong, Australia, Brazil, Shanghai and Singapore – all wonderful experiences that have armed her with lots of ideas for more stories.
When she’s not writing, Kirsty loves gardening, classical music, cooking, knitting and doing tapestry, and therefore often worries that she is a bit too old-fashioned for her own good… She is never happier than when she is in the Hebrides, and escapes there as often as she can, but when she’s not there she lives in the Scottish Borders with her husband, four children and two dogs.
