About Paul

Paul Thomas was the political cartoonist for the Daily Express from 1998 till 2015. Prior to that, he was the Pocket Cartoonist for The Independent on Sunday, business cartoonist of the Evening Standard and political cartoonist of Punch Magazine, where he created The Safeways. He was a regular contributor to the Spectator providing covers, spot cartoons and the “Wold Affairs” cartoon strip. He was political cartoonist of the Sunday Telegraph from 1995-1996. He has illustrated three books by Hunter Davies for Random House.
